Position: Call Centre Agent
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full time
Reporting To: Customer Service Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) Needs Call Centre Agents

  • If you get this job, you will be responsible to obtain clients’ information by answering telephone calls; interviewing clients and  verifying information.
  • In addition, you will be responsible to respond to billing inquiries and handle customers’ high bill complaints.
  • You will also provide information about company programs, products and services.
  • And be reporting electric emergencies and outages.
  • Furthermore, you will provide data to customers requesting new services and/or construction and channel to appropriate office.
  • Consequently, Provide resolution of customer complaints.
  • You will also be responding to utility commission and agency inquiries.
  • As well as updating customers’ account.
  • Administratively, you will be taking telephone calls on behalf of IE in order to fulfil customer requirements.
  • In relation to the above, you will know the most up to date information on all product and services of IE and be able to help customers in a quick and friendly fashion.
  • On technical ground, you will maintain communication equipment by reporting problems.
  • Also, maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.
  • Assist in Carry out any other duties  and instructions as requested by Head customer Service and Head of Department.

Minimum Qualifications

To fit in properly on this role, you require:
  •  A first degree or its equivalent diploma qualification.
  • You also requires not less than 2 years relevant work experience with advanced/ extensive knowledge and mastery of relevant theories, principles and complex techniques gained through broad experience or special development.

Technical Competencies:

  • You must possess current knowledge of profession.
  • And good knowledge of the business
  • Together with efficient customer service management
  • Working Phone Skills.
  • Proven Analytical skills.
  • Commitment to Task.
